● الأسير السابق الغوشي خرج من سجون الاحتلال مصاباً بالسرطان وفشل في إحدى كليتيه
● تعرض لسلسلة اعتداءات وعمليات تنكيل ممنهجة تسببت له بكسور في الأسنان والأضلاع

رام الله - قال نادي الأسير الفلسطيني، إنّ تدهوراً متسارعاً طرأ على الوضع الصحيّ للأسير السّابق محمد أيمن إسماعيل الغوشي (36 عاما) من مخيم عايدة في بيت لحم، والذي أفرج عنه من سجون الاحتلال في السادس من أيار/ مايو الجاري، بعد أن أمضى 18 شهراً رهن الاعتقال الإداريّ، حيث تبين بعد الإفراج عنه أنّه يعاني من تكتلات سرطانية في الحوض، وفشل في الكلية اليمين. 

وأوضح نادي الأسير، أنّ الأسير السابق الغوشي وهو متزوج وأب لطفلة، تعرض لسلسلة عمليات تنكيل، واعتداءات، وذلك منذ لحظة اعتقاله واحتجازه في معتقل (عتصيون)، ولاحقا بعد نقله إلى سجن (عوفر)، وقد تسببت له هذه الاعتداءات المتكررة، بكسور في الأسنان، والأضلاع، كما وأصيب خلال فترة اعتقاله كما المئات من الأسرى، بمرض (الجرب- السكابيوس) الذي استمر معه لمدة 6 شهور متتالية دون علاج، ولم تكتف منظومة السّجون بذلك؛ بل إنّ قوات القمع أقدمت على إطلاق الرصاص المطاطي على إحدى قدميه، خلال عملية قمع له في سجن (عوفر)، وكان ذلك قبل فترة وجيزة من الإفراج عنه. 

وتابع نادي الأسير، إنّ حالة الغوشي واحدة من بين مئات الأسرى الذين أفرج عنهم من سجون الاحتلال، وخرجوا بأوضاع صحية صعبة، ومنهم من تبين بإصابته بأمراض مزمنة جراء ما تعرضوا له من جرائم طبيّة ممنهجة وحرمان كلي من العلاج، بهدف قلتهم، أو التسبب لهم بأمراض يصعب علاجها لاحقاً. 

وأضاف نادي الأسير، أنّ المعطيات التي تكشفها الفحوص الطبيّة للأسرى المحررين والمفرج عنهم، تعكس مجدداً الكارثة الصحيّة التي يواجهها آلاف الأسرى في سجون الاحتلال. فلم يعد لدى المؤسسات المختصة القدرة على السّيطرة على أعداد الأسرى المرضى، فاليوم كل أسير في السّجن، يعاني على الأقل من مشكلة صحية واحدة بحاجة إلى علاج، لا سيما مع استمرار الكارثة الصحية الناجمة عن انتشار وتفشي مرض (الجرب السكابيوس) في مختلف السّجون، وبين كافة فئات الأسرى من بينهم الأطفال، والذي شكّل واحدا من الأسباب التي أدت إلى استشهاد أسرى ومعتقلين، إلى جانب جرائم التعذيب والتّجويع. 

من الجدير ذكره أنّ الاحتلال يحتجز في سجونه أكثر من عشرة آلاف و100 أسير، من بينهم (45) أسيرة، وأكثر من (400) طفل، و(3577) معتقلا إدارياً، يواجهون جرائم على مدار الساعة، منها: التّعذيب والتجويع، والجرائم الطبيّة، والاعتداءات الجنسية، وجملة من سياسات السلب والحرمان، التي تشكّل امتداد لجملة جرائم تاريخية مارستها منظومة السّجون على مدار عقود طويلة، إلا أنّ هذه المرحلة (بعد الإبادة) جاءت لتشكل فارقاً كبيراً في مستوى هذه الجرائم، ومستوى أعداد الأسرى والمعتقلين الذين استشهدوا جرائها.

Ramallah, occupied West Bank - There has been a rapid deterioration in the health  of released Palestinian political prisoner Mohammad Ayman Ismail Al-Ghawashi (36 years old), who was arrested in November 2023 from his home in the Aida Refugee Camp in Bethlehem in the southern West Bank by occupation forces. Al-Ghawashi was released from the Israeli occupation’s prisons on May 6 of this year, after 18 months in administrative detention without any trial or charges. 

Al-Ghawashi is a husband and a father. Upon his release, al-Ghawashi was hospitalized and it was revealed that he suffers from cancerous masses in the pelvis and kidney failure in his right kidney. He was also repeatedly severely beaten resulting in broken ribs and broken teeth. 

He was first taken to the Etzion Detention Center near Hebron city when he was arrested, before being transferred to Ofer Prison. 
During his imprisonment, like hundreds of other prisoners, he contracted scabies skin disease, which he suffered from for six consecutive months without being provided any treatment. The prison authorities did not stop at that; during an attack on detainees at Ofer Prison, Israeli forces fired rubber bullets at one of his legs, shortly before his release.

Al-Ghawashi’s case is one of hundreds of former detainees released from Israeli occupation prisons in severe health conditions, some of whom were later diagnosed with chronic illnesses due to systematic medical negligence and complete denial of treatment, aimed at killing them or causing them irreversible diseases.

The PPS also stated that medical examinations of freed prisoners continue to expose the health crisis faced by thousands of prisoners in Israeli occupation prisons. Institutions no longer have the capacity to manage and track the number of ill prisoners. Today, every prisoner suffers from at least one untreated health issue, especially with the ongoing scabies outbreak across various prisons and among all categories of prisoners, including children. This outbreak has been one of the main causes of prisoner martyrdom, alongside torture, starvation, and other forms of abuse.

It is worth noting that Israel currently holds more than 10,100 Palestinian political prisoners, including 45 women, over 400 children. The figure also includes 3,577 Palestinians from the occupied West Bank who are being held under administrative detention without trial or charge. These prisoners are subjected around the clock to various violations, including torture, starvation, medical neglect, sexual abuse, and an array of deprivation policies. These crimes are a continuation of longstanding historical violations practiced by the prison system over decades. However, the current phase (genocide) marks a significant escalation in the scale of these violations and the number of detainees who have been killed as a result.
