● مخابرات الاحتلال تجدد الاعتقال الإداري للمعتقل محمد خضيرات للمرة الثالثة لمدة 6 شهور

رام الله - أصدرت مخابرات الاحتلال أمر اعتقال إداريّ بحقّ الأسير المصاب بالسرطان محمد زايد خضيرات (23 عاماً) من الخليل، لمدة 6 شهور جديدة، وذلك رغم صدور حكم بالسجن الفعلي عليه في وقت سابق لمدة 17 شهراً، وغرامة مالية بقيمة 2000 شيقل. 

 وقال نادي الأسير، إنّ خضيرات الذي تعرض للاعتقال في الأول من حزيران/ يونيو 2024، كان قبل اعتقاله يخضع لعلاج خاص بعد عملية زراعة نخاع أجريت له، وتقرر في حينه أن يتم تزويده بجرعات علاج بيولوجي استنادا لبروتوكول خاص قرره الأطباء له، وقد حصل على اثنتين منها من أصل 14 جرعة. 

وبيّن نادي الأسير، أنّ الاحتلال حوّل خضيرات إلى الاعتقال الإداريّ تحت ذريعة وجود (ملف سري)، وأصدرت مخابرات الاحتلال بحقّه حتى اليوم ثلاثة أوامر اعتقال إداري، مدة كل أمر 6 شهور، وإلى جانب مسار الاعتقال الإداريّ، قدم الاحتلال بحقّه لائحة (اتهام) وبعد عدة جلسات حكم عليه بالسّجن الفعلي لمدة 17 شهراً. 

وتابع نادي الأسير، أنّه وعلى الرغم من المحاولات التي جرت بعد اعتقاله من المؤسسات، للضغط على منظومة السّجون من أجل توفير العلاج له، وتحديدا فيما يتعلق بتزويده بجرعات العلاج البيولوجي، إلا أنّ الاحتلال يواصل حرمانه من ذلك، وكذلك حرمانه من معرفة نتائج الفحوص التي خضع لها بعد اعتقاله، ليضاعف ذلك حجم الجريمة التي تنفّذ بحقّه، والمخاطر على حياته. 

ويعاني خضيرات اليوم من تراجع واضح على وضعه الصحيّ، ونقصان حاد في الوزن، وهزال عام، وذلك جراء ظروف الاعتقال الصعبة والمأساوية التي يواجهها في سجن (عوفر)، كما الأسرى كافة، وتحديداً استمرار تفشي الأمراض بين صفوفهم، وممارسة جريمة التجويع بحقّهم.  

الأسير خضيرات هو واحد من بين عشرات الأسرى الذين يعانون من السرطان والأورام بدرجات مختلفة، ورغم حاجتهم الماسة للعلاج والرعاية الصحية الخاصة، إلا أنّ الاحتلال يواصل اعتقالهم وتحويل حاجتهم للعلاج إلى أداة لقهرهم وتعذيبهم، وقتلهم بشكل بطيء، كما جرى مع العديد من الأسرى والمعتقلين، سواء قبل الإبادة وبعدها، حيث يشكل الحرمان من العلاج أبرز الأدوات التي تستخدمها منظومة السّجون لقتل الأسرى والمعتقلين. 

إلى هذا يؤكّد نادي الأسير، أنّه ومنذ بدء الإبادة، ومع تصاعد الجرائم بأشكالها المختلفة بحقّ الأسرى، واتساع انتشار دائرة الأمراض والأوبئة بين صفوفهم، فإن المؤسسات المختصة لم يعد لديها القدرة على حصر أعداد الأسرى المرضى، واليوم يواجه الأسرى كارثة صحيّة، تتخذ مستويات ومسارات عدة، نتيجة للعوامل والإجراءات التي تواصل منظومة السجون فرضها، وتعمل على ترسيخها لاستمرار تفشي الأمراض، ومضاعفة المخاطر على مصير من يعانون من مشاكل صحية مزمنة. 

يذكر أنّ 70 أسيراً ومعتقلا استشهدوا في سجون الاحتلال ومعسكراته بعد حرب الإبادة، وقد شكلت الجرائم الطبيّة واحدة من أبرز الأسباب التي أدت إلى استشهادهم، إلى جانب جرائم التعذيب، والتجويع، والاعتداءات الجنسية.

Ramallah, occupied West Bank - The Israeli occupation’s intelligence has issued a six-month “administrative detention” order, without trial or charge based on “secret evidence,” against a 23-year-old Palestinian political prisoner who is battling cancer. 

Mohammad Zayed Khdeirat had already been sentenced to 17 months and 2,000 ILS (USD) less than a month ago in Israel’s military courts. He has already spent nearly a year behind bars in Ofer Prison since he was arrested on June 1, 2024 from Hebron in the southern occupied West Bank. 

The new administrative detention order means that instead of being released in November at the end of his 17-month sentence, Khdeirat’s detention will be extended to December, and the administrative detention order may be renewed indefinitely, meaning he has no way of knowing when he will be released, in severe violation of his rights. 

To date, the Israeli occupation’s intelligence has issued three administrative detention orders against him, each for six months, despite the presence of a parallel military trial under which he was sentenced to 17 months. 

Before his arrest, Khdeirat was undergoing specialized treatment following a bone marrow transplant for the cancer he is suffering from. At that time, doctors prescribed him a protocol requiring 14 doses of biological therapy— he had only received two before his arrest. 

Despite efforts made by the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS) and other prisoner defense institutions to pressure the relevant occupation authorities to provide him with medical treatment, the latter refuses to do so. He has also been denied access to the results of medical tests conducted after his arrest, compounding the crimes committed against him and the dangers to his life. There is a noticeable decline in Khdeirat’s health today, severe weight loss, and general physical weakness due to the harsh and tragic conditions he is facing in Ofer Prison—conditions faced by all prisoners. 

Khdeirat is one of dozens of prisoners suffering from cancer and tumors at varying stages. Despite their urgent need for treatment and specialized medical care, the occupation continues to hold them behind bars, turning their right to medical care into a tool of oppression, torture, and slow death, with detainees being killed through denial of medical careat an unprecedented rate.

The PPS emphasizes that since the onset of the genocide in the Gaza Strip and the escalation of crimes against prisoners—including the widespread outbreak of diseases and epidemics—prisoners’ institutions are no longer able to keep track of the number of sick prisoners. Today, prisoners are facing a health crisis that is unfolding due to the policies and procedures the occupation continues to impose and reinforce, which contribute to the spread of diseases and increase the risks faced by those with chronic health conditions.

70 identified Palestinian political prisoners have been killed in the Israeli occupation’s central prisons and military camps since the genocide. Denial of medical care has been one of the primary causes of their deaths, alongside torture, starvation, and sexual assault.
