🔴 قمعٌ ممنهج يستهدف الكلمة والوعي الفلسطيني : محكمة الاحتلال تُمدّد اعتقال الأديب والكاتب وليد الهودلي بذريعة  "التحريض"

رام الله – 29/1/2025 - في سياقٍ متصاعد من السياسات القمعية التي ينتهجها الاحتلال الإسرائيلي بحق الفلسطينيين، مدّدت المحكمة العسكرية للاحتلال في معتقل “عوفر”، يوم أمس، اعتقال الأديب والكاتب وليد الهودلي (66 عامًا)، بذريعة ما يُسمّى “التحريض” عبر مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي، وذلك حتى يوم الثلاثاء المقبل، في خطوة تعكس تصعيدًا واضحًا في استهداف الكلمة الحرة والوعي الثقافي الفلسطيني.

ويأتي هذا القرار في إطار سياسة ممنهجة تتبعها سلطات الاحتلال لتحويل الفضاء الرقمي ومواقع التواصل الاجتماعي إلى ساحات مراقبة وقمع، تُستخدم فيها تهم فضفاضة ومرنة لتجريم الرأي، وملاحقة الفلسطينيين بسبب مواقفهم الفكرية والسياسية، في انتهاكٍ صارخ لمبادئ حرية التعبير التي تكفلها القوانين الدولية.

وقالت هيئة شؤون الأسرى والمحررين ونادي الأسير الفلسطيني، في بيانٍ مشترك، إن الاحتلال يواصل توظيف مفهوم “التحريض” كسلاح قانوني وأمني لتكميم الأفواه، واستهداف الأدباء والمثقفين والصحفيين والطلبة والنشطاء، في محاولة لكسر أي خطاب فلسطيني قادر على فضح جرائمه أو رواية الحقيقة، ولا سيما في ظل جريمة الإبادة الجماعية، وفي محاولة لترهيب المجتمع الفلسطيني بأكمله، وزرع الخوف في الفضاءين الواقعي والافتراضي على حد سواء.

وأضاف البيان أن حالة اعتقال الكاتب وليد الهودلي ليست حالة فردية، بل تمثل نموذجًا صارخًا لمئات حالات الاعتقال التي طالت فلسطينيين فقط لأنهم عبّروا عن آرائهم، حيث تتعمد سلطات الاحتلال الإبقاء على تعريف "التحريض" غامضًا وفضفاضًا، بما يتيح لها تأويله وفق مصالحها السياسية والأمنية، بعيدًا عن أي معايير قانونية عادلة.

وأكدت هيئة الأسرى ونادي الأسير أن الكاتب وليد الهودلي يُعد من أبرز الأصوات الأدبية التي كرّست تجربتها الإبداعية لتوثيق معاناة الأسرى الفلسطينيين، الأمر الذي جعله هدفًا دائمًا لسياسات الملاحقة والاعتقال، إذ اعتُقل مرات عديدة على مدار سنوات طويلة، كانت أطولها اثني عشر عامًا، كما تعرّض للاعتقال الإداري أكثر من مرة، من بينها عام 2007 لمدة عشرين شهرًا، ثم عام 2017، إلى جانب ملاحقته المستمرة بسبب كتاباته. وكانت آخر أعماله رواية “الغرفة الزهراء”، التي شكّلت امتدادًا لمشروعه الأدبي، وصدرَت قبل فترة وجيزة من اعتقاله الأخير. 

وفي هذا الإطار، شددت هيئة شؤون الأسرى ونادي الأسير على أن منظومة الاحتلال الإسرائيلي لا تستهدف الأجساد فحسب، بل تسعى إلى استهداف الوعي، وتجريم الكلمة، ومحاصرة الرواية الفلسطينية، من خلال “ابتكار” أدوات رقابة وقمع جديدة، تمتد إلى الفضاء الرقمي، لإسكات كل صوت فلسطيني يسعى إلى فضح جرائم الاحتلال، والدفاع عن الحق في الحرية والكرامة والوجود.

يذكر أنّ قوات الاحتلال اعتقلت الأديب وليد الهودلي في تاريخ 21/1/2026، بعد اقتحام منزله في محافظة رام الله والبيرة، وخلال عملية اعتقاله نفّذت عملية تخريب واسعة، وعملية تنكيل بحقّ عائلته، علماً أنّه يعاني من مشكلات صحيّة وهو بحاجة إلى متابعة صحيّة.

Silencing the Word: Occupation Extends Detention of Palestinian Novelist Walid al-Houdali

Ramallah, occupied Palestine — Amid an escalating pattern of repressive policies pursued by the Israeli occupation against Palestinians, the occupation’s military court at Ofer prison extended on Wednesday the detention of 66-year-old writer and novelist Walid al-Houdali, on the pretext of so-called “incitement” via social media. This move reflects a clear escalation in the targeting of Palestinian expression and cultural consciousness, the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society & Commission of Detainees’ Affairs said in a statement on Thursday. 

Al-Houdali’s detention was extended until February 3, 2026, for the purpose of “presenting a charge sheet” against him, meaning that he will be sentenced under the occupation’s inhumane military laws. 

Occupation forces arrested him in a raid on his home in the Ramallah and Al-Bireh governorate on January 21, 2026. During the arrest, they carried out extensive deliberate vandalism and mistreated his family. It should be noted that he suffers from health problems and is in need of medical follow-up.

The decision to charge al-Houdali comes within the framework of a systematic policy adopted by the occupation to turn the digital sphere and social media platforms into arenas of surveillance and repression, using vague and oppressive charges to criminalize opinion and persecute Palestinians for their intellectual and political positions, in blatant violation of the principles of freedom of expression guaranteed by international law.

In a joint statement, the two organizations stressed that the occupation employs the concept of “incitement” as a legal and security weapon to silence voices, targeting writers, intellectuals, journalists, students, and activists in an attempt to break any Palestinian discourse capable of exposing its crimes or narrating the truth—especially in light of the crime of genocide in occupied Gaza—and to intimidate Palestinian society as a whole, spreading fear in both physical and digital spaces alike.

The arrest of writer Walid Al-Houdali is not an isolated case, but rather a stark example of hundreds of arrests of Palestinians solely for expressing their opinions. Walid Al-Houdali is one of the most prominent literary voices who dedicated his creative experience to documenting the suffering of Palestinian prisoners, making him a constant target of persecution and arrest policies. 

He has been arrested and detained many times over the years - the longest of which lasted 12 years - and was subjected to administrative detention (without trial or charge) more than once, including in 2007 for 20 months and again in 2017, in addition to ongoing harassment due to his writings. His latest work, the novel The Pink Room, was an extension of his literary project and was published shortly before his most recent arrest.

In this context, the Commission of Detainees’ Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society stressed that the Israeli occupation system does not target bodies alone, but also seeks to target consciousness, criminalize the written word, and besiege the Palestinian narrative by “inventing” new tools of surveillance and repression that extend into the digital space, in order to silence every Palestinian voice striving to expose the crimes of the occupation and defend the right to freedom, dignity, and existence.
