⭕ مع حلول شهر رمضان

⭕أكثر من 9300 أسير ومعتقل فلسطيني وعربي تحتجزهم سلطات الاحتلال الإسرائيلي داخل سجونها، ويواجهون سياسات التعذيب والتجويع والقتل البطيء منذ بدء جريمة الإبادة، وبوتيرة تُعدّ الأخطر في تاريخ الحركة الأسيرة.

⭕وقد خضع آلاف الأسرى لسياسة التجويع المستمرة منذ ما يقارب العامين ونصف، واضطروا إلى الصيام في معظم الأيام، حيث تكتفي إدارة السجون بتقديم لقيمات قليلة لا تكفي إلا لإبقائهم على قيد الحياة. كما حُرم الأسرى من أداء الصلاة جماعياً، وفي بعض المعسكرات مُنعوا من حقهم في الصلاة واقتناء القرآن الكريم.

⭕ ومن بين الأسرى نحو 70 أسيرة محتجزات في سجن الدامون ومراكز التحقيق، إضافة إلى نحو 350 طفلاً محتجزين في سجني مجدو وعوفر، ويواجهون ذات السياسات من تعذيب وتجويع. 
وبعد جريمة الإبادة، ارتقى ما يزيد عن مئة أسير، أعلن عن هويات (88) أسيرا، منهم من ارتقى نتيجة لجريمة التجويع إلى جانب التعذيب، وسياسات التنكيل، والاعتداءات الجنسية. 
⭕ نذكر أن الطفل وليد أحمد استشهد في سجون الاحتلال جوعاً، ومع ذلك فإن مئات الأطفال يواجهون التجويع والحرمان من أبسط حقوقهم.

⭕ كما ونشير إلى أن الاحتلال يواصل اعتقال تسعة أسرى منذ ما قبل توقيع اتفاقية (أوسلو)، وقد تجاوزت مدة اعتقال بعضهم أربعة عقود

⭕ Ramadan Begins With Thousands of Palestinians in Occupation’s Detention

⭕More than 9,300 Palestinian political prisoners are being held by Israeli occupation authorities behind bars. They face policies of torture, starvation, and slow killing since the beginning of the genocide in Gaza, at a rate considered the most dangerous in the history of the prisoners' movement.

⭕Thousands of prisoners have been subjected to a continuous starvation policy for nearly two and a half years, and have been forced to fast most days, as the prison administration provides them with meager rations barely enough to keep them alive. Prisoners have also been denied the right to perform prayers in congregation, and in some camps, they have been denied their right to pray and to possess copies of the Holy Quran.

⭕Among the prisoners are approximately 70 female detainees held in Damon Prison and interrogation centers, in addition to about 350 children detained in Megiddo and Ofer prisons, who face the same policies of torture and starvation. Since the start of the genocide, over 100 prisoners have been killed. The identities of 88 of them have been announced. Some were killed through starvation, in addition to torture, punitive measures, and sexual assault.

⭕ We note that the child Walid Ahmed was killed through starvation in the occupation's prisons. Hundreds of other children are also facing starvation and deprivation of their most basic rights.

⭕ We also point out that the occupation continues to detain nine prisoners who were imprisoned before the signing of the Oslo Accords. Some of them have been imprisoned for over four decades.
